I have been trying to do a few online flights on Vatsim with FSINN using FSX.
If it's a busy airport or airspace. Virtual memory box pops up and I have to shut FSX down.
My Computer specs.
Operating System: Windows Vistaâ„¢ Home Premium
System Model: Dell XPS420
BIOS: Phoenix ROM BIOS PLUS Version 1.10 A03
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.40GHz (4 CPUs), ~2.4GHz
Memory: 3326MB RAM
ATI Radeon HD 2400 PRO
Page File: 1474MB used, 6717MB available
So to sum it up I wanna fly just can't fly because of this issue with Vitrual memory running out.
Thanks

I had the same problem due to AI aircraft - I turned all AI aircraft off & I actually just turn off Ultimate Traffic completely. That solved the same iddue for me completely.

You shouldn't be running AI traffic while on VATSIM period. In FSX you have to actually turn of AI...in FS9, it won't show up anyway.

Any extra eye candy - especially moving - is going to use your memory. The road vehicles, etc....it's all good and well, but I like to fly, not look at the road traffic and ships.
The FSInn repository is gone - there is a plan in the works right now that I am a small part of to bring back a new one. Until then, you need to update your aircraft library at least once. I have my FSInn set to do it every time I fly...takes about 15 seconds on my FS9 with 4500+ acft acft with liveries, and about 1 minutes on FSX with about 3500.
AI shouldn't cause your issue - especially if it's off

I guess I will take it and let the geek squad check it out... or contact Dell wish they want an arm and a leg.

Good luck fixing the repository, I know I have missed it.
