Hey guys I have been having this problem ever since I bought the Saitek Pro Flight Yoke + Throttle Quadrant. When I plug the chord from the TQ into the yoke my flight sim will randomly change my rudders. I have nothing set to rudders in FS either! But immediately when I unplug the TQ from the yoke it will go back to straight. I have sent emails to Saitek and they are taking a while to respond so I was just wondering if you guys would maybe know how to fix this? I've tested this yoke on different computers, FSX and FS9, and different OS's... It's driving me insane!
Thanks!

have you tried leaving your TQ plugged in prior to starting your computer? FS will read it as being plugged into a different slot every time you load it in differently, causing you to have to go in and reconfigure your axis assignments and so forth in the settings.

What is happening to you is what Saitek has set as the default axis on TQ. Make sure you re-calibrate everything and save, then try again. I would also consider buying a registered copy of FSUIPC, it really helps with calibration.
Hope this helps!

I second Brady's recommendation on reg FSUIPC with hardware add on's. I love my Saitek Yoke, Quad & Rudder but I think I'd go insane without FSUIPC controlling it all. Allows for acft sepcific settings and more importantly slope adjustments for any axis. I zero out all joystick axis and button settings in FS.

Alright so, last night I went to my controls and saw somehow that my X axis was set to rudders. I disabled it and it stayed straight for a flight then I went to bed. I left my comp on and my saitek still plugged in and today when I tried to fly the rudders would randomly change! I checked my controls and it wasn't set. And now when I unplug my TQ my rudders wont automatically go to straight they will just stay the same...
Im thinking about getting FSUIPC, if I do will that fix the problem? And when I unplug saitek and replug will I still have to readjust the controls?
Thankss

You may have to go in and just hit "scan" twice when you startup FSX if you unplug your devices and use a registered copy of FSUIPC -- but I do recommend getting FSUIPC registered.

There was an issue with version 3.9 fo FSUIPC that would "time out" before getting a response from the throttle quadrants. Go to the download site and download the latest version. Fixed my problem straight up.
