Hello fellow pilots... I'm still climbing the chain of equipment types and I want to know after you become captain of the 767, what new equipment types are available for advancement? 777, 747? Or does it depend on how many legs/hours that you have? Thank you.

Jeremy, if you want Stage 4 ratings, they are as follows (and I may not get them all): 777, 747, DC-6, DC-8, L1011, MD-11. And there may be one or two more, but I'm not sure. Check the pilot promotions manual and it will list all the equipment types for you. My only question is, why would you ever want to leave the 767!?

I was looking at stage 4 as well till I bought the LDS 767. Between the PSS 757, and the LDS 767 I'm content where I'm at.

AFVA is the same if I remember correctly. The only difference is they have a Stage5 for the Concorde.

Well they have programs like the A330 program and the 773 program instead of them being additional ratings like they are for us here at DVA.
