Hey guys, when i was pushing back on a flight i herd a beeping sound from the computer i later found out there was a message reading "There is no more memery, do a clean up and restart MS" or along that lines anyway, i got rid of my CRJ's which i'll probley never fly (which my computer said was taking 2,000MB's) and cleaned out my bin.
I think i fixed it but i want to know why it said that (apart from the easy one and saying it just was full cause it still had 2GB left)
Any ideas?

External Hard Drives. Or add some internal ones.
1 = main (C)
2 = FSX (D)
3 = FS9 (F)
2 x externals (H) and (G)
They are relatively cheap nowadays.

Virtual memory is the RAM. It's seperate from the hard drive, so unless you get notifications about that aswell, you don't need to go deleting things.
Basically the computer can only run so many things at a time. Besides what's on your task bar, there can be other programmes running aswell.
The best way to correct this error is to avoid running unnecesarry items while running FS. You don't need to run websites, and because you're not in contact with any internet, you won't need anti-virus programmes running as well.
Just cut back on things that aren't needed and you should be fine.

Also my computer gets very hot very quick, i've moved it to the table to let air move around and i have the fan right up but the computer just get hotter (more then it should) i use a table fan when it's at the house but i'm not at that house.
It gets so hot it's melted the rubber legs on the bottom and has shut it self down 10 times, i understand that room temp plays a facter (it was 29*C when i wrote this) it so hot i could cook from it.
Any ideas/soutions to this?

Phillip, Virtual Memory is not the same as physical memory/RAM. It's not seperate from the HDD. Virtual Memory reserves disk space on your HDD via a pagefile. If you're receiving OOM errors related to virtual memory, then not enough memory is reserved in your pagefile. Please write back with the amount of free HDD space you have, and the operating system you're using.
As for temperature, double check that a fan hasn't failed inside of your PC, and that cable management has been set up properly. I'm guessing you're referring to case temperature, and not temperature related to internal hardware?

Go to "My Computer", and right click on "Local Disk" or the harddrive you're currently using for Flight Simulator. Then point to "Properties". In pink, it'll show "Free Space" in a pie chart. That's the amount of free space you have.

if you suspect a cooling fan is busted, and it has shut down due to overheating. i would stop using the computer immediately, you will ruin it.
as to startup processes, i use and recommend a startup cpl http://www.mlin.net/StartupCPL.shtml

I know, but i can't afford to not keep it runing, i'm just going to get one of those little fans that plug into the USB port to blow air into the vents i've done this before and it cooled it right down.
As to the ruining of the computer, it's 5 years old and it can't get worse, it's shutdown due to heating 20 times, bule sceen of "death" twice and i've fried the motherborad one time and touch wood shes still going like the day i got her.
Hopefuly it's got a few more years left on her. (even though laptops only have a 3-4 year life)

Alright, so you should have enough free space to increase your page file. Try doing this:
1) Click Start, right-click My Computer, and then click Properties.
2) In the System Properties dialog box, click the Advanced tab.
3) In the Performance pane, click Settings.
4) In the Performance Options dialog box, click the Advanced tab.
5) In the Virtual memory pane, click Change.
Most people would recommend setting your page file to about 1.5 times the amount of physical memory you have installed. In this case, 447 * 1.5 = 670.5. I'd round that up to 671, and set 671 as your initial, and maximum value. If this doesn't work, or the size is already equal or higher than this number, try about 1000 megabytes.

Do you think the fire was related to the overheating issue? I know I probably don't need to ask this....but you aren't overclocking a laptop right?

The fire wasn't due to heating the wires where sterched and they tryed touching and it sparked and the plastic burnt up.
As for over clocking it, yes i am it's had so meny issues that you can find a bit further up.
Overclocking means it's well past it's life spain right?
