Now that it appears all of the former NWA flights have been converted to DAL flights in the route database, I'm not quite clear on the staff's position on the NWA callsign. Are we allowed to use the NWA callsign for (former) NWA flights anymore?
(I'd be VERY VERY sad if we can't)

We are not going to tell you that you cannot use the Northwest callsign and I am not sure Vatsim's Northwest callsign and I am not sure Vatsim's stance on it as far as flying online. I see a lot of Us Air planes not filed AWE. I just call them Catus and let them go.

I'm positive that VATSIM isn't going to prohibit the NWA callsign...that's like blocking the TWA callsign or USA/AWE, as you mentioned. I was just curious what DVA's official stance is. But sounds like I have my answer.

FWIW, I took a snapshot of the October schedule that includes NWA. At some point I expect to recycle it as a historic schedule, but that's going to require some thought on our part because I'd like Delta's historic routes to be consistent across Northwest, Northeast and Western.
Cheers!

You can use whatever callsign you like on Vatsim. Fictional, excisting or expired airlines.
I've been flying Pan Am(Clipper) for years, including on events and even CTP.

Yes, I definitely understand anyone, anywhere can use any airline callsign you'd like. I was just asking as from a "DVA-SOP" perspective. I'm certainly going to keep using the NWA callsign on old NWA routes until told otherwise

Luke, if needed, I downloaded Northwest's final timetable. It's in PDF if you ever need it.
