Ok, so just where does the 190 fit in at? If someone can please confirm how you get that rating. I can't find anything about it in any of the docs. Some of the threads talk about it, but not seeing anything official from DVA on this. Thanks.

I am rated for CRJ-200 and E170. but not the 190. Just looking for the official word on how to pick that rating up.

Tim,
FYI. Check the section on additional ratings. Also looking at my profile I was given the E190 rating when I passed the 737 check ride.

I read the section on additional ratings. Talks nothing about the 190. It is interesting to note the 170 is under the 737/MD88 programs, neither rating I have. Hmmm....

If you have already taken the 737 checkride, under the area where you request a new checkride it should say "737" for additional ratings. Request the additional rating, and if it all checks out, the new rating will be given.

No 737 checkride. I think I got the E170 rating before a change in the programs? Just that I don't find anything in the current documentation talking about the 190, so was curious how one got it. Thanks.

The E170 and E190 are both part of the B737 Program. The CRJ Program owns up to the ERJ-145, but not beyond.

Scroll down to the bottom of the Pilot Center and click on "Request Additional Ratings"... if you're eligible for the rating it should have "737-800" in the drop down. Request the additional rating and you'll be given the E190 rating.
