Hello everyone ive been busy but yesterday I decided to reinstall FS9 because for some weird reason it would freeze up the image after pressing ALT for the menu. That problem is fixed but I now have another problem.
I run on Windows Vista X64 Home Premium and FS runs just fine but after closing FS for some reason I get a "Windows Error Reporting Window" and it says that FS has crashed unexpectedly... I'm thinking to myself "I just closed it myself".
Does anyone know what I can do to fix this? I suspect its Vista itself because all the addons are compatible and I haven't installed anything that isn't for FS2004. I only have realistic planes by the way.
Thanks in advance.

What does the error report detail? Can you post the crash log here?

It should create a crash dump log, that'll tell you what happened.

Keep a copy of your flight plans and FS9.cfg.
Delete your My Documents -> Flight Simulator Folder and Application Data -> Microsoft -> FS9 folder.
Backup to a different location if you want, but better delete it. FS will create new ones when it starts.
Try these if nothing else works. More often than not, this solves almost all such issues.
