When I joined yesterday I was able to download the 757 and install and fly with no problem. Today I have downloaded the remainder of the AC I am permitted to fly and cannnot install anything. I have rebooted, etc. I can get as far as the acceptance of the SW license and then it tells me there is no supported version MSFS avaialbe. What do I do?

download and run the INSTALL REGISTRY FIXER - then try again...it's located in the same dropdown list as where the aircraft and ACARS are

I did that. Didin't correct the problem. Any other ideas? Should I run FSX Repair?

What OS are you using? If you're using Windows7, have you checked to see if it made you a FS chain of folders in the C Drive Programs(x86) instead of the Program folder?

All the installers use the same FS location detection code. Where is FSX installed?
Also, make sure that the installers actually support FSX. About half to three-quarters of our fleet is FSX compatible, but not all.
Cheers!

Ted, I'll assume you're running 64 bit Windows? The registry fixer you downloaded most likely only entered in the 32 bit path, and not the wow64 path.
You'll either need to find a 64 bit registry fixer for FSX, or manually enter it in to the wow64 section of your registry.

I don't think it's a bit-ness issue, since 64-bit Windows will magically remap the registry for 32-bit apps. I've never had a problem with the Installers on my 64-bit Win7 machine.
Cheers!

Thanks for all the sage advice but the problem was caused by none of the planes downloaded were FSX compatible. I was not aware that was a problem. I downloaded 12 AC and only two (757 and EMB120) would load. I thought it sort of odd since those are the "newbie" birds but I guess thats the way it is. Is there a way you can tell from the library what is an FSX compatible bird? BTW, I figured this out after a full reinstall of FSX! LOL!

The Fleet Library should say near the top of each aircraft entry whether it is FS2002 or FSX compatible.
Cheers!

I had to manually enter in my FSX data into the 64 bit registry area for a PMDG installer once. Not good.

Cole - something isn't right in your setup if you had to do that.
