Hi guys,
Lately I'm having problem with my rig, randomly it freezes like yesterday nite during the event and there is nothing I can do other than switching the power off and restart.
I have already scanned my hard drive to see if there are corrupted files there but everything is fine, now I'm thinking that I may have a bad memory stick not sure tough.
Any suggestion is very much appreciated !

When this happens do the speakers make any kind of noise and when it happens again check your USB devices and see if they have lost power. I had a random freezing event for the longest time and it was so random but I finally figured out that my RAM wasn't getting enough voltage, even at normal clock speeds. So after I boosted my voltage up by .2 volts, never happened again. Not saying that is your exact problem, but my symptoms were static over speakers, and even though the computer remained on but frozen, all USB devices had no power.

Tom I have a loud static noise when it freezes if I'm on flight sim, but also happened a couple of times when I was just browsing the net and with no static sound out of the speakers....
cheers!

Well its no guarantee but it could be the same problem that I was having. If you are comfortable enough doing it, I would try bumping up your RAM voltage by .1 or .2 and see if you still get the problem. If your running on stock voltages right now, then it shouldn't hurt the RAM, but as a disclaimer, anything could happen but most likely won't.
