I use Kaspersky Internet secuirity.
Have been using it for 5 years, it works like a charm.
Very light, dont even notice its runing in the background.
However its well known that virus scans make problems with FS (games in general)
Some people also report ACARS issue while doing a virus scan.

I too use MS Security Essentials. I also have spybot installed.
Anti-virus software like Macafee, Norton, Nod32....all garbage IMO. For years and years now I have been running w/o a anti-virus and have been just fine.

I'm using the latest Norton Security Suite, only because it's offered for free to Comcast customers. I also use SpyBot S&D

Currently I'm running Panda Cloud, but I also like Avast! and AVG. All of those are free and equal to or better than most payware programs in my opinion.

I agree that Avast! is the best freeware out there
But from my personal experience AVG is a very bad choice
