Hey guys,
Long time no post. I have a question for y'all here out of curiousity regarding your average frame rates in FSX. I OC'd my i7 920 last night to 3.6ghz and did some testing with the Maddog 08 at KATL.
Current Setup:
i7 920 @ 3.6ghz
6GB DDR3 1600
260 GTX
1TB Harddrive
All sliders right except the following:
Scenery: Extremely Dense
Autogen: dense
Water: Mid 2.0x
Car Traffic: 12%
Boat Traffic: 20%
Leisure Boat: 20%
UTX, GEX, REX 2.0 installed
Imagine Sim KATL FSX
MADDOG 08 (sliders at Best Performance)
No AI running
Nhancer set to on
Nick N's and Jesus' tweaks applied
Testing done at Daytime/Summer, Gate B14. I'm averaging roughly 26 FPS with the 2D panel and "unlimited" frame lock since this works best for me. If I use the Fleet FSX 737 with Kevin Sparkuhl panel, I'm down to roughly 21-22FPS. VATSIM has no effect on frames even with multiple aircraft on the ground at KATL (suprised). Frame Rates climb into the upper 40/ low 50's once airborne
Just wondering what your ballpark to see if I need to adjust anything.
Thanks,
Blake
