Hello
I am a first officer in the 737 program but i love flying the crj. Is there anyway to get certified in that aircraft or to switch to the crj program? I dont mijd the 737 at all, just really like the crj. Thanks

Well first i believe you have to have 7 flights that count for promotion in the 737 then you can take the CRJ F.O test and then you can take the CRJ CR and if you pass you earn the ratings or can switch programs

Luis is correct, you need to fly all of the legs that would make you eligible for captain, though you don't actually have to become a captain or take the captain's test because you will be switching to a lower stage aircraft. However, you must fly ten flights, not seven. They must also meet the criteria outlined in NOTAM 36.

I know that its 10 for promotion but I keep on thinking that it's 7 flights for promotion to just earn the ratings.

i see.. thanks so much for the responses. i greatly appreciate your time. if i do complete the flights, and then i switch to the crj, would i still be certified in the 737, or is there no way to be certified in both the crj and the 737.
