Well two things...
1) You have a 32bit OS, that means you can only use a maximum of about 3GB. To use 4GB or more, you need to get the 64bit version.
2) I heard in Telecom class at college, that using a flash memory as RAM is not efficient, it could slow down your PC. Yes, it's possible, but it's just cheaper to buy another stick of RAM.
