I know I have model and livery sets for Squawkbox, from time to time I actually see company 757's and whatnot. More often then not though, I see the VIP paint, even though their callsign is Delta (or any other airline, I have the livery sets for many carriers.) What determines whether or not SB displays the correct livery or just the VIP one? Does it have anything to do with when you connect and select the aircraft type and airline? 90% of the time I just see VIP. Just wondering.

From the Pilot Center go to the Fleet Library and install the Squawkbox Model Sets if you have not already. This should help also make sure that in your Squawkbox options that you move the Delta liveries to the top. The type of aircraft you see is determined by how the other pilot is logged onto VATSIM and what he is telling VATSIM that they are flying. When Squawkbox cannot find a match you get the VIP.

Yep, that's the thing. I have the model sets, and the Delta liveries at the top, but I still get the VIP liveries more often than I get the ones that the pilot is using.

I don't know much about SB, bt I would venture to say it may be a problem with the other pilots not selecting their airline livery when they select their aircraft before logging in.

It's all good, that's what good is for, right? I'll look into that. I've also been told that I outta switch to FSINN. I have it downloaded and installed, just have a hard time switching from the extremely familiar squawkbox I've been using for years and going to a pretty much alien piece of software that I have no clue how to operate.

FSInn works with both FSX and FS9.
If shown how to use FSInn correctly the first time - it will become old hat quickly.
