Fellow DVA'ers,
As of recent, I have seen many flight reports that have been held because the leg flown is not in our schedule. With a few, they were/are cases were the flight isn't operated daily. For example, JFK-STT-JFK is currently a Saturday on service on Delta. To avoid issues in the future, the best thing to do is to save the flight ahead of time as a flight assignment and it's pretty easy.
In the Pilot Center, scroll down to the Delta Virtual Airlines Flight Schedule section and select 'Find A Flight'. From there do a search of whatever routing you are looking for and select 'Build Flight Assignment'. At the very next prompt, go ahead and save the flight assignment. It will appear in your log book as a Flight Assignment and you can fly it whenever you're ready.
I know for me this has happened in the past so I always make it a habit of saving my flight assignments just in case it isn't one that is operated on a daily basis.
Hope this helps!
