I have had the PMDG 737 for a couple of weeks and have the latest service packs installed for 600-900 series aircraft. what is wierd is that I will be in level flight and for some reason the bird will decide to disconnect from the VNAV even though I am not even close to the TOD and start pitching to over 5000 FPM ascent rate, which caused the bird to be in a stall condition. I thought this was a turbulance issue or something to do with ASE but have had the same issue with no weather at all. Could there be a problem with the FS9.cfg file or the aircraft.cfg file? I have posted the question on AVSIM PMDG support to see what they might come up with but thought I would ask here as well

John,
did you have this problem from day one or recently ?...your FS9 cfg has nothing to do with this erratic behavior .....I would consider a re-install just in case PMDG doesn't give you a solution!

I would reinstall the PMDG 737 as that is not normal, I have flown hundreds of hours in the PMDG 737 before i got the i fly 737 and never had a problem like that happen.

I was told by one of the beta team members that sometimes the injected weather either by fs9 weather or another weather program and if the smoothing is not set the reported stations will cause updrafts causing the smilar orrurance that I mentioned

I went into ASE and made sure that I changed the settings according to the manual also had to change FSUIPC. I did find that there was some items that I had to change to get the best results per the manual

OK update: I started ASE and input my flight plan then started FS9. everythng was smooth, so it has to be something with the way the weather is generated that has an inpact on the simulator.
