I'm finally going to build my new rig, just wanted to make sure that I have DVA's approval.

Processor http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115072 Going with the 2500k because FSX doesn't take advantage of hyper threading, good over-clocker too.

Looks nice! I am curious, however, as to why you chose air cooling over liquid? Is there any advantage?

Water cooling seemed unnecessary to me. I'd rather just have a nice fan cooler and be done with it.

Pretty similar to my setup - which works awesome! Good choices.
Good luck on the build and have fun!

Yes, FSX doesn't take advantage of hyperthreading, so you get more bang for your buck with an i5
EDIT: Whoops, you already knew that...

Randy, when it comes out it will be years until there are good addons for it- a majority of products will be for FSX. So I'll upgrade in half a decade.
