Hi everyone,
Not sure this is
Quick Q here; for the 2nd time now i've noticed that upon landing rwy 30L in DXB i get some very strange readings as to where my t/d was! http://www.deltava.org/pirep.do?id=0xa48b6 (i can assure u it wasn't that far down the rwy).
I'm using Flytampa scenery for OMDB; has anyone ever noticed this? Suppose what it means is either FlyTampa's scenery is a bit misplaced or it could the ACARS database.
Not much of an issue just curious.
Cheers

Does that runway have a displaced threshold?
I had a 4302 ft landing in Birmingham. And I know that was what happened.

The scenery must be misplaced. If you look at the "Route" line on the map, it shows you taxied off the end of the runway, through the sand, by the terminal (took out a few jetways), and parked across the street....

Wondered if anyone has experienced this, those who use FlyTampa's OMDB.
Cheers for the replies

It will happen on occasion at some airports. I had this at LLBG- I landed before the blocks but ACARS reported that I had landed over 6,000 ft. from the threshold.

Carlos, this has happened to me more than once using FlyTampa OMDB. Its not a huge deal, but ill sometimes get readings like 8,000 feet past threshold...which isn't accurate
