Where will they add crew bases? Or am I not getting its in ATL?
They are adding pilot domiciles in ATL for the 319/320 and 332/333. As of right now, all of the flying through Atlanta on those a/c are funded by pilots from MSP, MEM, and DTW. A330 flying comes from MSP and DTW (deadhead crew in and out and live flights through JFK and AMS. Just a side note but ATL has more DC9 trips than all the other hubs combined but they never opened a DC9 base in Atlanta. With the -50s being retired next year, I don't see one opening either. As of now, most DC9 pilots doing the Atlanta flights are Mempis based.
