I've just re-upped after a 5 some year leave. After PMDG came out with the QoTS I went off to fly 744s for another outfit as DVA wasn't flying them at the time. I realized that nowadays I'm flying a lot of Delta flights and I figured I would come back.
Now I'm in a bit of a quandary. When I left I was a 777 F/O, but I fly almost exclusively "advanced" addons and no one has come out with a PMDG/LDS-level T7. I'd like to get into either the MD-11 or 744 program (I'm "qualified" on both frames) but I'm short on flights to be able to make the jump. Is there a way to jump programs as a reinstated pilot without doing the qualification flights?

Since your qualified to fly the different airplanes, you don't have to change programs to fly them. You are able to fly any plane your rated for as long as the airport can handle that airplane.

Michael-
Thanks for your response. I realize that I can fly pretty much anything in the fleet, but I'd like a path for advancement, which is partially why I left in the first place (wasn't flying aircraft that I could eventually get to the left seat in). I suppose I may be nitpicking here as I could conceivably just do my remaining time on the T7 and then switch programs, but it seems like a bit of a waste if my eventual goal is a 747 or MD-11 captain's seat, meaning I'd have to start from scratch as an F/O one of those programs.

The 747 and MD-11 are not in his ratings.
Since you're already in a stage 4 program, you only need 5 flights with the 777 to get the additional ratings of the 747 and MD-11. You will have to take a FO exam and pass a CR however.
Edit: Just saw the 747 rating. Since you have that, no FO exam and CR is required, but will be for the MD-11.

Yeah, like Brandon stated, you will need to fly those 5 flights in the T7 before you can transfer. There are a few short flights to get that done quickly, though. There's a Korean Air leg from LAX - LAS and back.

Ah, I didn't realize that I could fly codeshare routes. That makes it much easier. Thanks Jesse!

I'm going through the NOTAMS and am still a little confused about what aircraft type will count towards promotion..
The 4/27/10 NOTAM states that promotion flights must be "1. Completed using equipment that is part of the stage program "
Since I hold a B744 rating (stage 4), will legs flown in the 74 count towards a captain promotion on the T7 (also stage 4)?

No. To achieve captain status with an aircraft type, you must fly 10 flights and pass a captain's exam with that aircraft and its variants.
