First off, I absolutely love the airline. You guys have done a great job with it. ----Ok, question time. What constitutes the number of available routes? Example-my home airport is Tokyo-Narita, equipment type B763. Since joining, there have been zero routes available for my airport/equip type. There are flights available, but zero routes. So, what exactly is the reasoning behind having 0, 1, 2, or 3 routes available like I've seen?

Austin, you can fly out of anywhere. Regardless of your home airport. Anyway - just a quick search of just Delta flights out of NRT - granted they aren't all 763. Use the find flight button and you'll see them. Additionally, you can use any aircraft you are rated in for flights
http://www.deltava.org/findflight.do?op=search
The 763 flights are:
DVA209 Leg 2 B767-300 Tokyo-Narita Japan (RJAA) to Beijing China (ZBAA) 20:05 JST 23:20 CCT 4:12 0 1,154 nm
DVA208 Leg 1 B767-300 Tokyo-Narita Japan (RJAA) to San Francisco CA (KSFO) 15:40 JST 09:10 PT 9:30 0 4,447 nm
DVA208 Leg 2 B767-300 Tokyo-Narita Japan (RJAA) to San Francisco CA (KSFO) 15:40 JST 09:10 PT 9:30 0 4,447 nm
DVA608 Leg 2 B767-300 Tokyo-Narita Japan (RJAA) to Honolulu HI (PHNL) 20:00 JST 08:40 HST 7:36 0 3,317 nm
DVA617 Leg 2 B767-300 Tokyo-Narita Japan (RJAA) to Beijing China (ZBAA) 18:50 JST 22:05 CCT 4:12 0 1,154 nm

I understand the Find a Flight part, I did that. I'm just using my home airport as reference. As you posted, which is what I was looking at as well, all of the 763 flights out of NRT show zero routes available. I'm just wandering what that means. Other flights show 1 or 2 routes. However, all of these particular flights, under "ROUTES" show '0' available. What does that mean?

When looking for a flight he is talking about over to the right where is says routes and it shows zero. While I could be wrong, I think you will find that in most cases they will be zero as that will add to the time it takes to create flights for us to pick from. Routes can be designed it the Route Plotter which is where I usually find some flight routes hiding out to help me go from point "A" to point "B".

The "0 routes available" is referrring to the Dispatch System.
A flight leg that has a Delta Virtual preffered route stored for dispatch will show how many preffered routes are avialable.
When it says 0 available, it only means that you won't be able to rely on dispatch (if there are no dispatchers on line).
You can still fly those legs.
Welcome aboard, by the way.

Awesome John, thank you very much. I was leaning toward that way, thinking it had to do something with dispatch. I still wasn't choosing those routes because I thought they weren't available to fly for some reason. Thanks for clearing that up!

Austin - don't get confused by some of that stuff, you can fly any routes from any airports with any airplanes (as long as you're rated in it). Your home airport doesn't mean anything nor does your program. Just have fun!

Yeah, otherwise I would never get out of JFK in the B777 program. Can you believe there is no B777 work out of JFK, a shame.
