Here is another curious question.
I am currently in the B737 program as a captain what happens if I decide to take and pass lets say the CRJ200 exam what do I become afterwards?
I know it gives me more aircraft that I can fly But what am I now a captain in the B737 and a first officer in the CRJ200 and then after I log enough flights in the CRJ am I now a captain in both?

Unless you request a transfer you will remain a B737 Captain.

Hi Gary, be sure to read the pilot promotion guide in the document library which can be found in your pilot center. It is a little dated, but is still full of valuable information.

Basically you can ask for the additional ratings without switching to that program.
