We all know that clouds are an FPS killer in FS, especially if you turn up Anti Aliasing. I've been doing a bit of digging and have found this http://mrhaandi.blogspot.com/p/injectsmaa.html Without going into all the blurb it can perform AA much more efficiently, I did a quick test at KJFK with loads of clouds, AI etc and found I could get 45-55 FPS on the ground. The problem I can see is that the quality of AA, even at the highest setting is not too brilliant, I found a problem with lots of shimmering. I thought I would post it here as those with Low-Mid GPU's might be able to get a smoother sim using this.
Read through what comes with it and see what you think. I will keep on experimenting.
Just a few points - 1. You have to set AA in your GPU control panel to Application Controlled - so note any previous settings if you don't like what it does. 2. Turn off AA in FS. 3. Not sure if this will work with ENB series and the dll you put into FS has the same name, mitght be able to configure a proxy? If anyone has a good deal of success with this post your findings here.
