Help please! For some reason I am no longer able to control the plane's steering on the ground with my joystick or mouse yoke. Although, once airborne both devices properly control the ailerons for steering. I am not aware of any control setting changes and can see that the joystick is properly calibrated, the x and y axis work fine, etc. Can anyone suggest what may have changed or how I can get steerage back? Taxiing by brake is not too effective.

Look for an ailerons setting and make sure it's checked. That will make it easier to taxi.

I have the rudder set to Z-rotation -- twisting the stick and the ailerons set to x-rotation -- right / left (you can only choose one action per control). What is not clear is why is the nose gear not being controlled by the x-rotation while on the ground. the same goes when using the mouse yoke. I did not have this problem with the joystick or mouse before so something tells me a setting was bumped but I can not find it. Brandon, I checked for a ailerons setting to no avail. Thanks all for the feedback.

Ok - I now see that the z-rotation / twist does control the nose steerage. Strange that the x-axis did it before... but at least I can taxi now. Thanks for the comments.

If you don't have rudder pedals or twisting joysticks, try setting the realism setting to "Auto Rudder" to allow you to steer on the ground.
