If DAL or AFVA doesn't have the 747SP as an aircraft in the historic program, then it's not flyable...regardless of what you downloaded.

Dylan, I am asking because it was included in the AFVA 747 fleet package and was flown by Korean Air but it does not appear in the system.

Nick, the AFVA fleet installer only shows as being the 747-200 and -400. Even if there was an SP, at DVA you can only fly the 747-100, -200, -300, -400, -400F, and -8i.

The -8i is only operated by Lufthansa so far, so till any of our code share partners get it it's not to be flown. Or at least that's what I have been told

The -8i is fine, it was cleared a while ago because the only variant we have been seeing is the PMDG version, which is a 747-400 with just an -8i external model.

Korean Air only operated the 747SP on their Trans-Pacific routes which in turn, I believe, were never code-shared between AF / KLM and Korean Air. As a result, like Dylan indicated, it may be included in the download, but it cannot be accepted for a PIREP.
