Hey guys,
So for some reason this just recently started happening. I have an external frame limiter to lock my frames at 50. When using the outside view (Spot), on the ground, i have perfect FPS. I also have good FPS in virtual cockpit. The problem starts after i start to climb up in altitude and reach cruise. My frames in virtual cockpit remain fine, but the spot view reads FPS of about 45 to 50, then intermittently drops to 15, causing intermittent stutters. The stutters are so severe that when it happens it seems as though fsx is going to crash, though it does not. I run all of my applications over WideFS, I defrag my computer regularly, and the problem happens with any aircraft i have installed. I haven't recently installed any new programs or made any major settings changes to the computer. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
