I have shied away from flying the Airbus especially payware like Wilco due to throttle issues. I run 2 Saitek Throttle quadrants so that I can fly 4 eng and still have control of each eng. But when I first started flying the Wilco line I couldn’t even get the power of the engines past 30%. After many searches and purchasing FSUIPC I was closer but not there yet. Then I gave up, a few months later I tried again when I purchased Aerosoft A320 Extended. Problem there but I kept trying and reading the forums from Aerosoft. They had fixes and they did work somewhat. If I was willing to set FSX to fly on for Airbus then it was cool, if I wanted to fly Boeing I would have to switch and relog back in.
Yesterday on the Aerosoft site I ran across this article on LINDA. The more I read the more excited I became. I down loaded the software (FREE) and did exactly what the directions say. I am content. I can fly an Airbus on approach to a field and immediately switch to a 757 and do the same , then go to a Wilco 340-300 use all 4 engines, and then fly a 747.
The LINDA software also helped on some issues I had with using my Saitek panels and them working with payware instrumentation. I was so impressed with LINDA I sent the guy who made a donation and may send him a little more once I really get the hang of it.
The only not to setting up LINDA is you will need a XML editor to delete some lines. The instructions tell you what to do but as always back up anything you are going to mess with just a precaution. Oh, and you forum trolls (I did do a search for LINDA and found no articles before posting this!).
