I am pleased to announce that the updated Fleet Library is "almost" available.
As mentioned before, I have been updating all of the panels to include the RunwayInfo, ServInfo and FO callout gauges. I've also been doing some performance checks on the 767-300, A320 and Concorde. This has forced me to retouch almost every installer in the entire Fleet. Since my previous announcement, a few updates have been made to the Fleet Library install packages that I'd like to share with you.
First, we have (yet again) a new 737NG panel. This one is the same one used by AVA, and seems to be more legible and useful than the current one we have. I think all the freeware 737NG panels I've seen cannot hold a candle to the PMDG one, but free is free and free is what can be added to the Fleet Library.
Second, South African Airways' recent decision to join the Star Alliance means that its days within SkyTeam are not long. To prevent me from having to re-push many of the installers out later, I'm axeing all of the SAA textures from the fleet. Sorry. This will affect the A320, A330, 737, 747, 767, CRJ and ERJ installers.
Third, POSKY has released a new set of flight dynamics packages for their aircraft, and I will be using them in the Fleet Installers. I have incorporated most of them, I just need to finish the 747 and A330.
Finally (and this is just a guess right now) to reduce installer size I may use the POSKY visual models for the 767-300 and 767-400 instead of IFDG, while using the IFDG flight dynamics if POSKY proves to be too sluggish.
Thanks again for your patience. On a different note, Geoffrey and Mark have sent me the examination questions, and once the Fleet is complete I will be revamping the Testing Center to address your concerns. It has been a long slow road, and I want to get it out of the way by Easter.
Cheers!
Luke

Luke,
I/we can't thank you enough for the work you have put into these fleet installers, they are the best, and simplest to install that I have seen at any VA. If I ever need a plane, I know exactly where to look, before I do a search at avsim for a plane and panel. Thank-you!

Luke,
Thank you for all the hard work you're putting into. I do have a question about the updates. In order to apply the updates, do we have uninstall the planes, dwnld the updated ones, and re-install? Or any other better way to apply them. Looking forward to log some hours in Airbus' since I cannot get rid of the panel problem
Thx

You should be able to simply overwrite the files, but in the case of a significant change (like a complete model change) you may be best off doing an uninstall and reinstall.
Cheers!
