Hi All,
I've been flying on and off for the past year (mostly with the PSS 777 which is awesome), but today I decided to take the fleet 747 out of the hangar. I slapped the latest AIRAC that I had which I believe is 1509 and tried to load it up. At first, I couldn't get past the screen to select an aircraft without FS9 freezing. I did some research and it seems like the issue was that my FS folders needed to be set to read and write. Next I was able to get past the aircraft loading screen, but when I clicked the button to load the flight, I got the dreaded "send an error report" crash. The crash screen points to the ifly747-400.gau file. I did some more research and I thought the issue might be with my GDI+ files, but that wasn't the case. I have also tried reinstalling the aircraft and starting the flight with the default flight. Other aircraft load just fine.
I used to fly this aircraft all the time when I was more active a many years ago, so I am not sure what happened. If anyone knows anything about this issue, I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks!
