So stumbled across this in the depths of the internet researching a cure to my Airplane disappearing mid flight. Some of you may have had the same issue where you're flying along and you switch to the outside view and BAM your airplane just turns into Wonder Woman's invisible jet. Well I know that's very annoying especially to those who spend money on very nice aircraft such as PMDG. So a fine gentleman, who goes by Jesus, (Which after I tried this I see where he got the name) posted this CFG tweak for FSX. Now I run Imagine Sims ATL 2015 and PMDG aircraft I have a very good computer and normally average between 20-25 FPS with all settings MAXED. After I followed his guide which ill post below, I saw a vast improvement averaging 35-40 fps and peaking at 55 once I got outside of KATL. Best of all my Aircraft never disappeared. I will continue more flights and see if the problem comes back but I seriously doubt that. So without further a do here is the fix:

hiya all..
Ok here is what you need to do..
go to your fsx.cfg and you will need to add some things and change a few.. but its real easy :-), trust me I'm crap at this kinda thing!
ok so at the top you see [GRAPHICS] just under that add
SHADER_CACHE_VERSION=1
HIGHMEMFIX=1
STALE_BUFFER_THRESHOLD=2147483647
then go to [Display] and look for
TEXTURE_BANDWIDTH_MULT=40..... Change the 40 to 400
TextureMaxLoad=30 <---- add this just below the texture bandwidth
[SOUND]
SOUND=1 <----------check you have this and change it if you need to.
SOUND_QUALITY=2
SOUND_LOD=0
you then need to add this just on top of [SOUND]
[bufferPools]
UsePools=85000000
That's the cfg change complete... save and exit the notepad. now head to your control panel and go to your sound Control panel and check your sound format is 44100Hz.
Then go to your nvidia/ATI control panel and check
Force vSync to OFF on your Video Card
Ok after you complete all that Boot up FSX and go to your settings... Set your FPS limit to Unlimited.
that's it....
Now remember always alter you CFG file at your own risk, and make the changes exactly as posted above. I have had no issues at all, but if you have questions or don't know where to find something I will be more than happy to help, as I am no professional at this kind of stuff especially when it comes to modifying programs. I will always be happy to pass off what I've learned, and please share your results if you decide to try this I am eager to see if someone has even better results than me.
Clear Skies-
