Hey everyone. So I've tried flying KATL-LFPG 2 times now and I get about 8 minutes from LFPG when I get an out of memory error and FSX crashes both time. Smooth flying with no issues and averaging 25-30fps even once OOM error happens. Up until now, I haven't seen this error in YEARS. I'm flying in the SkySpirit 777-200 and I did get an AFCAD LFPG add-on so I'd have enough gates for everyone. Keep in mind, I have everything below running for every flight I've done for a long while now and have had an issue until now since a long time ago with older system specs. I can load up at LFPG with these settings and fly patterns in the same plane for over and hour with no issues, so it's the build-up of VAS over a long flight that's causing the problem. Here are my current system specs:
FSX Acc Gold Edition
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
Intel 15-3570k @3.4GHz
16GB Ram
Nvidia GeForce GTX 650 (i think this is a 1GB but its FSX we're talking about and don't really need more than that right now)
FSX add-ons running during sim:
FSX
MyTraffic 6
DVA ACARS
Active Sky Next
Radar Contact 4
ORBX FTX Global
ORBX FTX Vector
Ultimate Terrain Caribbean
Ultimate Terrain Europe
Ultimate Terrain USA
Add-on airports all over(mostly just AFCAD files)
FSPassengersX
FSX settings (***some .CFG "tweaks" were done years ago and I don't remember which they were***):

I know some of these can be turned down/off like Lens flare off, turn the resolution down to 1024x768x32 (I'll see what that looks like), AI I can turn down to a point (i dont like empty skies and I want to see the a380s). Whatelse can I change to reduce the chances of getting OOM after a 9 hour flight without really sacrificing the visual aspects of a sim that's supposed to be realistic(ish)? Thanks for the input.

Here are my recommendations based on what you are showing:
Turn OFF aircraft casts shadows on itself
Reduce Road vehicles to 5%
Reduce aircraft traffic to 20%
Target frame rate 30
Orbx Global and UT seem redundant. I would lose one.
I also turn off within FSX the countries and regions I'm not flying to within the scenery library. Helps things get running quicker at startup.
Keep in mind also that some payware aircraft are a larger burden on CPU resources than others. Aerosoft's A320 series is outstanding but seems to bog down my system much more than the captain sim aircraft or the QualityWings 757.
I think one big change you could make is to wait for a sale and get FSX Steam Edition. I have much better performance with it than I did with FSX disks out of the box. Sometimes you can catch it on sale for $8. It will require you to reinstall everything but the performance gain is definitely noticeable.
Also, if you want to spend more money, FSX is highly dependent upon single core performance. Higher Ghz is better and all the research I've read points to 4.0Ghz or higher. Just something to consider long term. My i3 7350K 4.4 Ghz cpu runs everything much smoother than my former i7 2600 3.4Ghz with the same SSD, video card, and 8GB of RAM.
Best of luck!
