Matt was the lucky pilot whose approved 1.1 hour PIREP put DVA over the 100,000 flight hours mark. Congratulations everyone - this is the equivalent of just over 11 solid years in the air.
Cheers!
Luke

Wow a significant milestone in our history. Ironic that the 100,000th was in a vintage aircraft the DC-8.

Actually I flew the DC-8 on my first flight of the day. So, even more ironically, the 1.1 hour flight was a quick MCO-ATL run in the 727, which I parked, refueled, and then departed about 20 minutes later as DAL9935 on the ATL-VCV retirement flight. Pretty cool eh? Anyway, I'm proud to have been the (lucky) guy who PIREP put us over such a milestone, and I home I'm lucky enough to PIREP the 200,000th hour too!
