I have two questions for you guys. I am a CRJ-200 First Officer and I passed the written exam for the B737. I apparently am authorized to fly the 737 aircraft. Now, when i file PIREPS for a flight flown in the 737 aircraft, that will be added onto my flight hours, ect. right? And later, when i do get promoted to a first officer in the 737 aircraft, will i have to fly an additional 10 flights, or will those that i have already done for additional ratings be added to that?
Also, i can't figure out how to get the autopiolet IAS Holder to work on the 737-200, can anyone help me with that? I can't fing the throttle controls on the -200 either. Thanks in advance, so far you guys have been a really great help for me.

If you passed the written exam for the 737, then you can fly 737 flights. Those flights will update your number of flights and hours with DVA. But, here's the catch. In order for a flight to count toward your 10 for promotion to Captain, you have to already be a F/O in that program. So the 737 flights you're doing now, as a CRJ pilot, do count toward your DVA hours and flights, but they don't count toward being a 737 Captain. You need 10 737 flights *as a 737 First Officer* in order to be eligible for promotion to 737 Captain.

If you're using the stock FS panels (I think that's the panel on the -200 and -300 on the DVA installer) the throttle is on a sub-panel, as is the radio stack, GPS, etc. You can use the buttons on the panel to open them, or use the keyboard... the default keys are Shift-2, Shift-3, and so on... I forget which one exactly.
I'm not sure about the IAS hold, but it sounds like you are not arming the autothrottle first. Hit the A/T switch, then try linking the speed hold.
