I have recently passed the Pilot exams for the 727 and 737. There is no exam for the757 at this time. How do I get the additional ratings and my Captains designation. I have read the documentation but don't fully understand what else I have to do other than sending emails.
Thanks
John Noe

Since you already are a 757 First Officer you need 10 flights in that type then take the 757 Captains test.

John,
Did you take the 757 Captain's test beforehand (before reaching 10 flights?) Does it say above Testing Center - you are eligibile for promotion to CAPTAIN?
Lemme know if it helps.
Cheers!

If it says Captains Test not written - don't be faked out - look under the testing tab to see the list of tests you are eliigible - 757 Captain should be there.

Is my face red!!! There is a 757 exam in spite of the message. I should take it in a day or so. Also discovered that I did not quite pass the 737 and 727 exams. Need to work on my METARS and Approach Chart reading. Maybe some question reading also.
Learning a new VA is so stressful (well maybe not like REAL stress). Guess it would be like changing from Delta to a pilot for Air France.

I've found that using both the FAA's website as well as searching google can find nearly any answer you may need. Best of luck!
