Is there anyway to change the autopilot bank angle in fs2004, it seems rather steep, and I wanted to lower it.

On the default 738 I don't believe you can control bank angle using a specific function in the autopilot. The aircraft will turn very sharply if you give it a large turn all at once. If you adjust the heading on the autopilot in very gradual increments, then the bank angle will not be so steep.

Matt beat me to it. 30 degrees is the standard rate turn, and is the turn you should be using. You just don't notice it as much on a real plane because of the height and speed.
At least that is my understanding from some pilots I've talked to.

The bank angle for a standard-rate 2 minute turn depends upon speed.
