Luke,
Not knowing where you lived, I didn't realize you were here in the East. I actually figured you lived out West as it seems you always approve PIREPs late in the Eastern Time. At any rate, the Porsche Club of America, 928 Division meets in Blowing Rock NC once a year to spend the weekend in the Mountains. We get a special rate at the Holiday Inn there. We drive the Blue Ridge Pkwy and have a large picnic, etc. etc... What I'm leading to is, would any of the members of DVA, like to explore an annual meeting/picnic weekend. It could actually evolve into one in the East one year and maybe one in the West the next. Or, small groups of members in particular areas, could plan separate gatherings based on location. It obviously would involve a registration fee for the public events, and of course we would each be responsible to our on trip and accommodation expenses. A meeting room at the hotel could be set up with demonstrations etc., etc.... I throw the thought on the Table and eagerly await input from you and our pilots. Of course, if no one goes, it?s still great spending a weekend in the Mountains?
