I installed a new DVD-RW drive to my box on friday. I was origionally planning to slave the new DVD-RW drive to the hard drive on IDE 1, but it turned out that the IDE cable wasn't long enough to reach from teh HD to the DVD-RW drive, so i ended up removing my CD burner on IDE 2 and slaving the DVD-ROM to the DVD-RW, or vice versa. My board supports CSEL so it just configured it automatically. However i did notice these two other ports on the motherboard that were blue and an IDE cable fit perfectly into them, my question is what are these for? In the BIOS only 2 IDE channels show up so i'm wondering what these other 2 ports are for. As for My CD-RW drive, since i do want it back in the box, instead of not being used i guess i'll just get a longer IDE cable and slave it to the HD.
