David,
Lets see if I remember this right;
If you use outlook express, click on the addess and file/export/adress book. Will save it as .wab file. The new outlook express repeat the process, this time istead of exporting import
If outlook is the case, have your office cd ready, cause most outlook's don't have import-export function installed and it needs an installation package which is hidden somewhere on your office cd.Ok here we go for outlook;
Import and Export
Export to a file
Comma Seperated Values (Windows) - Needs to be installed from CD
Select Contacts (assume eveything is over there...)
Name the file and save
Again, importing into the new outlook, same thing this time import from a program
Hope these help
Kerem

Ok Dave, you gonna owe me agian , he he he :),
Any way on the old puter, start Outlook, click on file/importand Export
this brings up a window with import and export options, click on export to a file, click on next
Scroll down to personal folder file (pst), highlight it, click next
Highlight in the next window, Contacts, click next
Get a Floppy out and click browse, go to the A: drive, name the file Outlook, click on Finish
Unless you want to encrypt the file, click on no encryption, click OK
Ok , by now the file should be saved to the floppy, to import it do the same from the file import and export function, use import from another program or file function, click next.
scroll to personal file folder(.pst), and of course, click next Duh:)
Browse to the A: drive and select the file you exported
you have the option to overwrite duplicate files, or create duplicates if you are not sure, You can always delete contacts LOL
or do not import duplicates, Remember now, Click the next key when you ready LOL.
That should be all there is to it, Have fun.
Disclamer: I can not be held reponsible for anything that You , the end user, may foul up Remember these are M$'s guide lines for the above process for importing PST files, That is all.
OH YEH: Have a Nice day
