I have downloaded the fs2004 upgrade from the fs 2004 website. I can now no longer access the fs2004 programm. when the game starts to load the computer says that the fs2004 is not compatible with one of the communications programms that is used for flying on-line (i can not remember the program at this time ) When I try to run the fs2004 program a prompt come on screen that says the fs2004 in not compatible with the communicaions program. IF you were to downoad the update you would no longer have fs2004 9 , you would now have version 9.1./ also i have been having problems getting onto the deltava web site the last two days.Is there a glitch or somthing?
THANKS IN ADVANCE!!!

After reading all of these posts tonight on FS9, I think I;m sticking with FS2K2 even after I buy my new computer.
I've read of these, and other problems in the past and I just don't want to put up with it...

Ya I still run fs2k2 because fs9 is such a frame rate hog for my AMD900, 768SDRam, 32Mb V/C, and a soundblaster 5.1 gamer S/C

I experienced the same problem. Instead of trying to fix it, I found it was just easier to uninstall FS2004 and reinstall it again under the original version number.

Michael, it's worth it for FS2004! I'm running mine with the update and my 8gigabytes worth of addons perfectly fine. The key to the update is to get the latest FSUIPC.

Mike, I have no problems with FS9. I keep everything up-to-date. I don't have FS9.1 and I don't plan on getting it. I WILL get FS10.

I run FS9 and with the addition of 1 gig ram and Navidiai 5500 I am getting aceptable performance. Not great, but acceptable, given that I don't have the big bucks for a top of line gamming machine. The GPS and weather alone are worth running FS9..
