I don't know if this is from an overload of information or what, but I'm looking at a lot of this stuff I downloaded today wondering what in the hades I'm trying to do. I've looked at about 10 different tutorials now and perhaps I'm taking the shotgun approach; but I'm completely overwhelmed.
The idea that I had was for a gauge for the Boeing 777-300. As I'm sure you know, the 773 has a camera on it's main gear to aid the pilots in taxiing. I would have loved to have been able to do this (my initial idea was to simply load the forward view into a window in the FMC), but I know nothing about XML, gmax, or C programming. I used to be quite adept with VB5, but use it or lose it.
The tutorials that I have looked at have mentioned loading a picture into the gmax environment, but they don't mention where to get the picture (they probably do, but in three tutorials, I haven't figured it out).
Of course, Rome wasn't built in a day; I'll keep at this. But I just thought I'd throw it out there in case one of you "real" developers could come up with something. I know it'd be a great addition to a 773 panel.
Anyway, thanks for your time.

Matt,
I have an idea for a relatively easy gauge that you could develop as a "warm-up" simply to get the feel for things.
Contact me via email pls.

Adam,
I need your email address. The button to the left doesn't work for me, I'm missing some sort of .dll for outlook or something.

Adam,
I was informed after I sent the email to you that your domain is on my blocked list. I couldn't find that filter, but I created a new one that allows your email address through. Let me know when you send it to my email address. If it doesn't come through I'll let you know. Thanks.

Adam.
I got it, too. Thanks. I haven't looked at it yet, but I'll check it out here soon. I was going to download a file from AVSIM named b753v2_src.zip. It says it's a gmax source... will this load into the gmax editor that came w/msfs?
