thank God for the 12 FPS LOL
New York area's autogen is too heavy for the PC, you might be having the sliders maxed and that slows down performance, try reducing autogen objects.
Also try a defrag on the disk, that also improved my performance A LOT.
Hope these help =)

Are you using the FS9 default scenery or a freeware or payware scenery? Is it only KLGA? Are you using AI traffic, or is this while you're flying online? If online, what kind of traffic was there? What are your scenery settings if it's more than just KLGA.
Just trying to get some ideas of how to help.

Latest Nvidia Drivers
OMEGA DIDNT DO ANYTHING (as of 66.93)
Dont knw if latest motherboard drivers will help, if so i need someone to exactly tell me what to do because the bios updating requires flashing the bios through a .rom file and i dont know how to do that
I have defraged, no viruses, no spywares, Registry Mechanic fixed all messed up registries, disk clean up all that is done ...

I would reinstall the chipset drivers from either an internet source, or from the mobo CD. I believe that board uses the VIA 4in1 chipset drivers, so you might give that a try. Also, which model P4 is that ?? Is it the new E, or one of the C models ??

I just had a brain storm after I hit post .....
Do me a favor. Open up your case and look at the side of your PSU. There should be a sticker with a table showing the volt rails and how many amps they can carry. Look for the 12v rail and report back with the amperage (should say like 18A or 20A, etc). If it doesn't, post the maker and model number and I'll look it up for you in my database. I've got a couple of ideas brewing, but I need your feedback

You might try testing your system first, go to futuremark.com and down load 3Dmark2001se it is free and you should test above 13000, if you are close then your computer is fine and problem is how you have Flight Sim is set up. . With same board and cpu with Ultra 6800 I could pull some where around 16000. Bias and 4in1 updates will not make much difference in your frame rates.

If you're scoring 16000 on the OLD 3DMark, your computer has a bottleneck somewhere. I'm easily scoring 24,000 in 3DMark01, 14,000 in 3DMark03 and 9500 in 3DMark05. Also Percy, the Via 4in1 drivers could very well be the root of his problem. If the 4in1s were never installed, overwritten or corrupted somehow, his motherboard will default his AGP slot back to PCI/AGP 0x mode, rendering it crippled. Matter of fact, its a common problem with the Asus P4 series boards, especially after a BIOS flash.

I'd check on the Asus site myself, and see if they have a newer BIOS flash than your motherboard. Asus may also have a utility to periodically check for BIOS and driver updates (I know MSI does), which would be worth the download just to keep your system up to date.
Just my two cents' worth...save up the change for a root beer or something...

how much RAM do you have?....anything below 512 would take a toll with system performance with FS9. Got the same trouble when I had 256, upgraded to 1.25 Gb and it did the trick perfectly
