You can turn that off (or increase frequency) in the configuration tool, but I like the random simulated engine fires and brake failures.
I did have to dispense with the windshear alert though. It drove me crazy on every approach and takeoff.

That marks the third engine fire I have had with the Dreamfleet bird. The two previous ones were both in No.2, and were close to the destination. This one was No.1, and just into Wyoming on KSEA-KATL. The bird was quite heavy on takeoff (172,000), so I decided to set it down in Omaha. Even after emptying the No.3 fuel tank and leaving the No.1 tank off, it required a good bit of trim to keep the wings level.
