hmmmm, make sure you have Direct X 9.0C. What version of Catalyst are you running? I'm running 4.4. The new one out now is 4.7 Not sure how stable 4.7 is and since 4.4 has been great, I haven't upgraded.
Does anyone want to chime in on 4.7??
I guess we'll need to also know how you have your Catalyst settings configured. Try starting off with some of the 3D settings pulled back, then test and push forward until your computer can't handle it anymore. You'll find the settings under the "CUSTOM" button under the 3D tab.
I have my Direct3D settings on:
4X Anti-Ailiasing
8X Anisotropic Filtering
Texture: High Quality
Mipmap: High Quality
Wait for Vertical sync: Application Preference
TRUFORM: Always off
Now in Flight Simulator, under Settings>Display>Hardware:
Make sure you don't have a check mark in: Render to Texture and Anti-Ailiasing
Have a check mark in: Transform and Lighting
Now, for other setting regarding Display, you may want to pull all sliders back, then test. After that, move sliders foward until you max your computers capabilities. I know, this will take some time, but it will be the best way to find what's causing the memory dump/computer freeze/crash to desktop, whatever.
Hope some of this helps. Good Luck!

Dude, Ray, you already had a thread on this and people WERE trying to help you, why post another?
I asked you in your last thread this:
Hey Ray,
Im pretty confident i know what your experiencing.
Heres what happens im assuming:
Your flying along... Then the menu bar disappears. You try to click on something, and all your hearing is " Ding " ... " Ding " .... out of your speakers.
You click on something like... lets say, " Start " on the bottom left of the screen ( The windows button - Start )... Nothing pops up.
It's almost like the computer is completely frozen... but in a way, its not, its just that the game is like frozen.
Am i right? Is this what you are experiencing?
