Ok... first of all, I checked that this thing is able to handle 1280x1024 and i'm sure it does. Before I posted this topic I checked it by uninstalling the GForce4 drivers to be able to use the integrated S3 videocard that came with this computer. And it worked, with the S3 functioning I was able to get 1280x1024, but since the S3 has about 8 or 16MB of memory I went back to the GForce4 immediately. I think that what happens is that the Gforce can't handle the 1280 resolution I guess.
Besides, in the Control Panel - System devices.... in the monitor properties it says that this monitor doesn't need any controllers. The monitor is a Telart Tatung 17''LCD.
And regarding that refresh-rate... I'm using the 60HZ now, because I tried using the 68HZ and it was a mess, the monitor said that it couldn't get any signal, causing that the screen went black and to fix it I had to go into the Secure Mode to start windows and ... well it was a mess hehe.
Anyway, I don't really think that my system can handle that resolution in FS9. I'm using 1024x768 in FS and all I get is about 15 to 16 FPS. I've got a P4 1.8GHZ with 640 Mb. of RAM and the GF4 128Mb. videocard with an integrated soundcard (which I would like to upgrade too)
Thank you all guys.
