I am a CRJ Captain with additional ratings in both the 737-800 and the MD-88. Where do I go next as far as promotions are considered. There are no tests or anything available in the testing center for me to take. Any information would be great. You can either post it here or email it to me at mpplan@charter.net.
Thanks

Could we lure you over to the '72 Program? We need pilots to fly the "old routes flying the greatest three-holer ever built. It climbs slowly, but see how many B777's can keep up with you at cruise...it only does M.84.

No, since you're stage one you can't move directly to the B727 program. Your options are either stage two program, and once you become Captain in one of those, you can move to the 727.

Michael, you have to take a checkride (either fly online with a check pilot, or submit a flight video to the Chief Pilot) for either the 737 or MD-88 program. If you pass that, then you can move up to be a First Officer in either of those programs, and keep the additional rating in the other. So basically, you decide which of the two planes you like better, and move up to that program.
Once you're in the 737 or MD-88 program, then you can, if you want, start getting additional ratings in the Stage Three programs (757/767, L-1011, or 727).

Yeah, I give you that. The 727 F/O test was the hardest exam I've had to take so far. Even the Captain's exam wasn't as hard, for me, as the F/O exam was.
