I was looking through the skyteam timetable and i noticed that they have Innsbruck listed as a place to fly to. As it trurns out there are a few flights from AMS-INN via Air Alps (which is a parter with Northwest). To see this you have to download the updated Skyteam timetable avalible at their web site. Can some one tell me if I can fly this flight.

I wish I could tell you. If so, I'll be flying that once a week.

If I remember correctly so long as its on the timetable it should be legit. Thats how i remember being told. Hopefully that is the case. There's quite a few flights on there I would like to do, especially down to Australia and into Alaska, but I guess we'll have to see what management says

Best way to be sure is go to the Webpage for the Carrier and see if tickets are available. If they are and a Flight number is listed it should be good to go. I do all my flights by real world, current flights. So I'm logged into delta, Continental and NWA all the bloody time. (Note: This is not approval. I leave that to management :P)
Cheers,
Andrew

Your PIREP SHOULD be accepted as long as you put in the comments section "real world flight".

PIREPs will be approved for Delta, its affiliates and codeshare partners, and Air France, its affiliatesa and codeshare partners, real world and virtual (our schedules) flights.
I checked current real world Delta, Air France and SkyTeam schedules. They do not show AMS - INN in their schedule. If you can point me to where the flight is displaying and the airline providing the service indicates that it is a Delta Codeshare, we will approve the flight.

I got it once. It was weird because right after that it wouldn't show this to me agian. I was using the SkyTeam schedule. Now it says that the city pair is served but no logical connections were found. May be it was a one time deal. If i remember correctly the partner was Air Alps which i know is not part of SkyTeam but it is someones partner. I put in CDG-INN and i got a flight connecting in AMS. Thats how i found it. I'll keep looking for anything though.

I too looked for it at Skyteam and couldn't find it. I spent an hour there with all of the airlines.
I know Swiss Air and Air Tyrol as well as Lufthansa has schedules into Innsbruck, but I didn't have any luck with Skyteam.

NW airlines list about thrity what it calls airline partners, some of them are Air France, continental and DELTA, One of them is Air Alps and this ai line flys to Innsbruck, so i gues the question is if NW is codeshare and NW is partners with other airlines can we fly the other airline schedule and be counted.

That would sort of be like a code share of a code share. That probably won't go over too well.
Doesn't sound like we'll be doing any skiing in Innsbruck this year.

You are correct. The flight to be accepted must be a codeshare flight. A flight that is scheduled with a codeshare partner but not shared with Delta does not qualify as a flight segment.
I'd suggest that you organize a time to fly a special sky charter, Delta Elite, into Innsbruck. The experience of the challenging approach is a greater reward than being able to file the PIREP. Attempt it first in clear WX. After you understand that you flying down a valley with mountains on both sides, fly it with low visibility. My bet is your hands will perspire.
