I'm going to be learning how to program gauges. I have a massive program in mind for (initially) the 777 flight deck. If I can get this down, it will rival any payware panel for FS. The problem is I don't know C/C++. I have a quasi-indepth understanding of Visual Basic, so I'm not completely out in the dark when it comes to Object Oriented Programming. I don't mind learning, and will be making every effort to get up to speed as quickly as possible. What I need from anyone who knows these languages is some materials/suggestions for materials. I have downloaded the SDK from MS and am going through that. I also have Visual C++ Enterprise Edition 5.0, so I'm set there, I think.
I'd appreciate any suggestions or help. Thanks in advance.
