You have a number of Airlines listed in schedule? Am I able to fly routes with the other airlines listed as long as I am qualified to fly the aircraft listed for that route?

Hey Rick,
From Matt Creed VP of Operations:
PIREPable flights
"1. Any flight from the DVA online schedule or a real world DAL timetable.
2. Thanks to our relationship with AFVA, any AFVA or real world AF flights.
3. SkyTeam codeshare flights that have AN ASSIGNED DAL FLIGHT NUMBER.
There seems to still be some confusion about this, as I've been seeing PIREPs lately advising that it's a SkyTeam flight. Even if it is with a partner airline, the flight must be a DAL specific codeshare with a DAL flight number assigned to it (with the exception of Air France flights, see note #2 above). The easiest way to ensure use of valid flights is to go to DAL's homepage and download their scheduling program, it's small, easy to use, and includes all current flights.
Please help us out by following the above guidelines. Thanks, and happy flying!"
If you have any further questions let us know.

Rick,
You are permitted to fly DAL and Air France codeshare flights that appear in our internal database and DAL or AFA real world schedules. COA and NWA are two of many codeshare partners to DAL. The key criteria is that the flight is listed in DAL's schedule. File the flight report using the airline that operates the flight and note in the comment section that it was a codeshare flight.
Avoid using SkyTeam flight schedules to identify a flight. We do not accept all SkyTeam flights only the flights that are codeshare with DAL.
Note: You are not required to use the same equipment for the flight segment. What we do require is that you are type rated to fly the aircraft and that the aircraft that you select is capable of making the journey safely.

Rick,
Wow you got two answers at the same time.
Good news is that Trevor and I are in full agreement over Flight Report policies. LOL

So what I understand is that if there is a continintal or northwest flights listed in DVA online flight schedule is ok. But in the real world Delta timetable, only the ones that a DALxxxx flight number listed by the flight but has an * by the flight number is ok, except Sky team flights. Is this correct?
For codeshare flights online, Do I use the Continital or Northwest callsign or use my Delta pilot number or use the delta callsign with that flight number?
Thank-you for the quick response, dudes!! WOW!

Rick,
You can use the real world flight # or your Pilot ID..i.e. DVA2572 or DAL3596>(real flight #)..its your choice..I use my Pilot ID for the flight # almost 100% of the time...If I fly a continental or Northwest flight online I use COA544 or NWA544 as my callsign.
And on the Delta Electronic Timetable from Detlas website the * indicates a valid codeshare flight..so yes..you can use that flight..it may be either a COA or NWA aircraft, but uses a Delta flight #...I still file it as a COA or NWA flight though.
Hope that helps...
Cheers,
Joe

Rick,
Just to be crystal clear here. You are correct about selecting flight segments from our schedule database and realworld schedules. For example, the DAL real world PDF Sept. 1, 2005 schedule for flight from ICT -> DTW is listed as 6778NW
If you were to fly this flight segment and file a Flight Report, select NWA as the airline and insert 6778 and leg 1 as the flight number. Add a comment that this is a codeshare flight.
The callsign that you use when you fly online is a matter of personal preference. Most pilots use their DVA PID. For Example I use DAL057. Others prefer using the actual flight number as is done in the real world. If you were to use the realworld flight number for ICT -> DTW it would be NWA6778.
Okay now that I hopefully made this simple and clear, I have to inform you that I discovered that DAL's real world schedule and the electronic schedule are current and up-to-date, but they don't agree with the PDF. The PDF schedule is obviously out of date since NWA6778 found in the Sept. 1 PDF schedule no longer appears in the online or electronic versions. Therefore, my advice to you is to use either the online schedule or keep the desktop electronic one up-to-date.
