Is there anyway to prevent it from crashing to the desktop when you load in without being in the cockpit with all the panels open in both the 757/767? Also the 767-300ER sits about ten feet or more off of the surface in game and it won't load alot of the paints that it list. Anyone know about these things would certainly appreciate it. I love these planes but it is quite a hassel. Then again they are free, so should I just be happy or go out and get some payware models?

I don't quite understand exactly what you're asking. The Lonny Payne panel needs to have all the subpanels open when it loads (read the manual). Please be a bit more specific decribing your problem...

I have a payware beach jet.and i have to load it in 2d panel.or it crashes to desk top.its just the way some planes are made.that plane should have a readme file in the aircraft folder or with the down load.if it dose all the information about useing the plane will be in that readme file.Good Luck.

Maybe you just need to re-install the planes for the colours not loading sounds like some misplaced textures.

It is because of the panel crashing, that I recommend this panel from AVSIM instead.

The Lonnie Payne panel, although very nice for a freeware panel, is a bit finnicky. It used to freeze my system quite often. I had to start FS with the the default Cessna, do the flight plan, load the flight plan, and start SB3 (essentially everything prior to actually starting up the 757/767) before I selected the aircraft I wanted to use for the flight. Althoug it was a bit cumbersome, it worked. Saved me lots of frustration of not being to complete my flights. Also, if you want to save the flight and finish it later, you have to save it in full panel mode (like you see when you start a new flight with it). Otherwise it will CTD.

If you are trying a C&D cockpit with the LP panel, you will get that, LP was going to fix that a couple of years ago, But I reckon he bagged it, He is a real World Pilot and well you know how that goes:)
