I'm just full of questions! LOL. I was wondering if there was a way to turn on the cabin lights on my 757-2? Also, this may sound like a silly question but, when i took off just now, i powered up and got this god awful siren going off....i thought it was odd, so i tried it again, but the sound was gone this time. Hmmm, any ideas what it could be?
Thanks!
Mike

Possibly an out-of-configuration warning.

Hey Michael,
Yea I have to concur with what Boss Carter said. If you using the Lonny Payne Panel from the fleet installer, you must have the aircraft configured for take off... otherwise you'll get "horned" every time. Check your flaps, speedbrake, parking brake etc.... That should fix it.

have you tried pressing L to turn all lights on, i think it is the NAV light that turns cabin lights on. The cabin is usually dark for Takeoff and landing though, isnt it?

I can't remember too much about the Fleet 757, but you should also get an out-of-config alarm if you don't have the aircraft properly trimmed for takeoff - e.g at least in the green area!!

If you throttle up without releasing the parking brake or having your flaps set for takeoff the siren will go off. Annoying will always get a pilots attn or wake him up...lol
